To our members, employer groups, and agents,

As valued members, groups, or brokers of Beta Health Association, we want you to know that we are committed to your health and well-being. The current Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis has caused disruptions in our everyday lives, from businesses and schools closing to anxiety over making sure we have the resources we need.

At Beta Health, we understand how confusing and stressful this situation is and could continue to be for some time. We’d like you to know we remain open for business and are committed to providing quality dental, vision and wellness plans, as well as ongoing customer service, to our members. In light of the recent steps being taken by various state and local governments to prevent further spread of COVID-19, we are providing the following guidelines:

FOR TEMPORARY BUSINESS CLOSURES:

We understand that some of our groups may be faced with temporarily closing their doors due to COVID-19. As an employer, if you choose to deem your employees still “actively employed” and “benefits-eligible” during that temporary closure, we will continue to recognize those statuses. In the event an employer institutes temporary layoffs, any members who are rehired within 6 months will be enrolled the first of the following month.

FOR ALL OUR GROUPS:

If you need extra time to pay your invoice as a result of the mandatory shelter-in-place order, please reach out to us and we will work with you on a solution. As the circumstances around COVID-19 continue to develop, we will keep you informed of any impacts on our operations or response. Please contact us with any questions you have. Thank you for your composure and agility as we navigate the demands of this developing situation. We stand ready to support you through this COVID-19 crisis.
